Sreyashee Das

Sreyashee leads energy transition investments at Synapses. She also leads our incubation and acceleration programs.

Sreyashee has been instrumental in building multiple partnerships with government, and domestic and international institutions such as NITI Aayog, Start-up India, Invest India, and UNIDO. In her words, “I love that our thesis helps us work with STEM founders and a differentiated approach in working with early-stage founders who are building technologies to address climate change problems”.

Before Synapses, she spent five years focusing on energy access for rural communities using renewable energy and helped set up and run a microgrid business unit with Development Alternatives (DA). She has also worked with Hero Future Energies leading business development for their Solar Rooftop projects.

Sreyashee holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Seacom Engineering College and an MBA in Energy Studies from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management.

Sreyashee loves to cook and tinker with local cuisines, enjoys long drives, and is a tea connoisseur.
